BORDER GUARD AID FOUNDATION
A charitable foundation that supports Ukrainian border guards, organizes fundraising campaigns, and strengthens the country's defense capability

About the Foundation
Foundation founder Olha Ponomarenko, together with her husband Oleksandr Sanchenko, has been supporting border guards since the beginning of the full-scale invasion — Olha's brother serves among them. Over three years of war, the couple provided the military with: a vehicle, a ground station, a thermal imager, a night vision device, a diesel generator, a solar-powered charging station, warm clothing, and personal hygiene items.
This was made possible through open fundraisers for Oleksandr's and Olha's birthdays, as well as joint volunteer initiatives with friends. The idea of establishing the Foundation arose from the goal of systematically supporting border guards, with the ability to launch larger fundraisers and auctions together with artists, comedians, and musicians.
